Personal webpage of Prottay M. Adhikari

Prottay is an engineer/researcher hailing from Kolkata, India, currently working for Eaton’s Center of Excellence as a Distributed Embedded Controls Specialist (focusing on communication protocols). He received his Ph.D. in the department of Electrical, Computer and Systems Engineering at Renssalaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in the fall of 2021. Prior to joining RPI, Prottay completed his bachelors’ in Electrical Engineering from IIEST Shibpur and Masters’ in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay while working as a research assistant at EmSys Lab. He has worked for ARM from 2016 to 2017.

Prottay’s research work in ALSET Lab with professor Luigi Vanfretti, was broadly on the interface of Smart Grid Technology and Embedded Systems. He has spent the summer of 2021, as a research intern for Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI).
